Just Added: Great Big Sea and Cowboy Junkies
Our February lineup at the Rialto Theatre is shaping up to be a blockbuster. Seriously, blocks WILL be busted by February 31st (you'll note that we're giving ourselves an out, see, 'cuz there's no 2/31 except in Xanadu).
First up is an evening with Great Big Sea, Newfoundland's finest purveyors of traditional sea chanty-influenced rock music, on Thursday, February 16th. This will be a reserved seating show.
Then on Tuesday, February 21st, the Cowboy Junkies will be making a triumphant return to Tucson, which is appropriate enough since we can lay claim to being "home of the cowboy" as much as anyone else (you heard that right, Texas!). This will be the Cowboy Junkies' first Tucson appearance in, well, forever, so the anticipation is boundless. This show is a seated general admission show.
Both shows go onsale on Saturday, November 19th at 10 a.m.
Great Big Sea tickets must be purchased via our website, box office, or by phone at 740-1000, due to the reserved seating setup.
Cowboy Junkies tickets will be available via this website, our box office, and by phone, and also at all Zia and Bookman's stores.
So rest up -- February's going to be busy!

hi- with the gem show in 2006- how about a show or two during that time. last week of jan or 1st week of feb? lots of freaky people here in tucson wanting to have some good music.
