11/17: Jason Mraz Trio is SOLD OUT!

This Monday's appearance of folk-pop prince Jason Mraz (1 part of his Trio) has SOLD OUT. We apologize for any fans and would-be patrons who had yet to purchase tickets, but I reluctantly suggest there was likely some snoozing surely resulting in some losing.

Those who do have tickets to Jason Mraz Trio with Lisa Hannigan on Monday, November 17, doors will open around 7pm, and music begins at 8. Will Call pick-up can occur with a photo ID any time after we open at noon on Monday.

We're looking forward to another amazing Sold Out event at The Rialto Theatre!

ON SALE NOW: Susan Tedeschi, Madeleine Peyroux

We like to rock out quite frequently here at Rialto, but we also find great pleasure in a glass of wine and a sugar-sweet croonette every so often. We are fortunate enough to have Susan Tedeschi and Madeleine Peyroux on our calendar already for 2009.

Susan Tedeschi is a deeply expressive singer, and a soulful, melodic guitar player. Her flavor of blues has some periwinkle and turquoise mixed in, leading to a uniquely powerful, affective live show. She performs with special guest James Hunter on February 11, and reserved seats are on sale now!

Beginning as a street musician, Madeleine Peyroux has had a charming and exciting ascension to one of the most original--yet authentic--jazz singers to break the charts. After appearances at Lilith Fair and jazz festivals, and opening for Sarah McLachlan and Cesaria Evora, her career exploded in '96. All her releases since have received glowing reviews and close comparisons to Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline and Bessie Smith. She's definitely an "old soul". Madeleine will perform at The Rialto Theatre on April 1, and reserved tickets are on sale now!
