JUST ANNOUNCED: Joanna Newsom - Saturday, Nov. 6
Joanna's third album, a triple-disc called Have One on Me released earlier this year, features expressive and fearless lyrics accompanied by her trademark harp. It falls under "indie-folk" if you read many music blogs. Needless to say, if you know Joanna Newsom's music you don't need to categorize it. If you don't, well then you're missing out.
In either case, don't miss her performance Saturday, November 6 at The Rialto Theatre. The show will be fully reserved, and prices range from $35 up front, $30 on the rest of the floor, and $26 upstairs. Some fees may apply. Tickets will be available beginning Friday, August 27 at 10am online at www.rialtotheatre.com, or at noon via our box office or by phone (M-F, 12-6, 520.740.1000).

New shows added to Fall calendar...
Like every season, we try to provide something for every music lover in Tucson. So far, Fall 2010 is shaping up to be as rockin' and diverse as we can muster. And it's only the beginning of August. I can tell you right now that next week will bring more awesome show announcements that we can hardly keep to ourselves. Check out the new goodness we've just added:

Rock, folk, flamenco, jazz, punk, rap, reggae and a couple that pretty much defy musical categorization... Not a bad start!
