The Great Cover-Up Rocks Downtown 12/15-12/17
It all begins tonight! Go down to Plush to get your 1, 2, or 3 day pass and check out the opening night. Here is a bit of press to whet your whistle.
For the first time The Great Cover-Up will be extending into the day on Saturday (that's how many ridiculously awesome bands are participating!). That's right, the festivities will be kicking off at 12pm at both Club Congress and the Rialto.
Also, for the first time we will be having a mini food cart fest with Jamie's Bitchen Kitchen, Manchi's Sonoran Hotdogs, Dragoon Cafe, MaFooCo (korean tacos), and Street Delights.
We will take a break from from 5:30-7:30 pm which gives you just enough time to check out the Parade of Lights and then rejoin us for more great music and eats.
To help you navigate your events and the roads downtown this weekend, give this schedule and map of road closures a look.
Don't worry your ticket for the day will get you in for the night happenings. Parking is super easy at the new Centro garage just east of the Rialto on Congress street as well.
So come Cover-Up and chow-down with us this weekend!

NORTH AMERICAN SPRING TOUR
Debut Album CAMP Out Now
New York, NY - Glassnote Records is thrilled to announce that Childish Gambino will be hitting the road this Spring for an extensive North American tour, in support of his debut album CAMP. Following his sold-out "Sign Up" Tour this fall and dates on the travelling hip-hop festival Rock The Bells, Childish Gambino will hit 20 cities across the United States and Canada. Childish Gambino kicks off the "Camp" Tour in Atlanta, GA on March 16th at The Tabernacle and wraps on April 19th, at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA. Detroit rapper Danny Brown will open on all dates, with more shows to be confirmed in early 2012. Tickets for all announced shows will go on-sale to the public this week.
Childish Gambino released his Glassnote Records debut album CAMP on November 15th, 2011 and has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in music. Childish Gambino, with his unique genre of og hip-hop and lyrical genius, has gone from a viral cult following to a mega sensation. Childish Gambino has released two mixtapes," I Am Just A Rapper" and "I Am Just A Rapper 2" and in March 2011, Childish Gambino released an untitled EP that featured the hit "Freaks and Geeks".
