Childish Gambino coming to Rialto April 10th

NORTH AMERICAN SPRING TOUR
Debut Album CAMP Out Now
New York, NY - Glassnote Records is thrilled to announce that Childish Gambino will be hitting the road this Spring for an extensive North American tour, in support of his debut album CAMP. Following his sold-out "Sign Up" Tour this fall and dates on the travelling hip-hop festival Rock The Bells, Childish Gambino will hit 20 cities across the United States and Canada. Childish Gambino kicks off the "Camp" Tour in Atlanta, GA on March 16th at The Tabernacle and wraps on April 19th, at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA. Detroit rapper Danny Brown will open on all dates, with more shows to be confirmed in early 2012. Tickets for all announced shows will go on-sale to the public this week.
Childish Gambino released his Glassnote Records debut album CAMP on November 15th, 2011 and has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in music. Landing at #11 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and #2 on the Billboard Hip-Hop charts, CAMP has received critical acclaim from publications such as The Source, XXL, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, NPR and more. Childish Gambino, with his unique genre of og hip-hop and lyrical genius, has gone from a viral cult following to a mega sensation. The New Yorker praises, "With a vocal attack reminiscent of Pharcyde's Bootie Brown, Glover delivers rapid-fire stream-of-consciousness one-liners, along with in-depth and intelligent assessments of the recording industry, fame, and fortune." Childish Gambino has released two mixtapes," I Am Just A Rapper" and "I Am Just A Rapper 2" and in March 2011, Childish Gambino released an untitled EP that featured the hit "Freaks and Geeks". Most recently, Childish Gambino wrapped the sold out "Sign Up" Tour and performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and CONAN. Childish Gambino is tearing up the airwaves as his single "Hearbeat" is seeing major support from KIIS Los Angeles, Power 106 Los Angeles and Hot 97 in New York.
