Rodriguez, of Oscar nominated film "Searching For Sugarman" will perform at AVA Amphitheater on 4/19.

Due to overwhelming demand, the performance is being moved to AVA Amphitheater at Casino del Sol. Details below:

--For all of you that have purchased tickets already, you will be given an assigned seat that should correspond very closely with your seat purchased for the Rialto show. Row A at Rialto will be Row A at AVA, and so on. There will be no extra charge whatsoever.

--If you purchased an upgrade after the original move announcement, it will be refunded automatically to your credit card. Please allow 72 hours for the credit to appear on your statement.

--If you requested a refund after we announced that we were moving the show, and would like to get your ticket back, please email dan@rialtotheatre.com and we will arrange for this.

--If you would like a refund for any reason (related to the venue change or not), you have until Monday, March 18th to claim it. Please contact dan@rialtotheatre.com.

--You do not need to exchange your tickets in advance -- you will be able to do so on the night of show at AVA Amphitheater.

--However, you will be able to exchange your originally purchased Rialto tickets for the corresponding AVA tickets beginning Monday February 25th at noon at the Rialto Box Office, regardless of your delivery method. In other words, whether you have will call tickets or you already have your tickets in hand, you'll be able to exchange them for AVA tickets during regular box office hours (noon to 6, M-F).

--Patrons who purchased tickets at Bookmans locations don't need to do anything -- just bring your ticket to AVA on the night of the show and you will be given a wristband for a seated section in the pavilion.

Tucson Nonprofit Arts Organizations Celebrate #GivingTuesday™

The national campaign #GivingTuesday™ began its life as a simple idea: We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals....Wouldn't it be great to have a day for giving back? On Tuesday, November 27th our community will have an opportunity to give back and support arts and culture non-profits in our community.

So, on Tuesday, November 27th from 3pm to 7pm, KXCI and the Fox Tucson Theatre will support many downtown-based arts and cultural organizations with an event best described as a "downtown happy hour for the arts."

We'll have a live remote with KXCI Djs Cathy Rivers and Al Perry... free food... a cash bar... and hourly prize raffles. Plus a chance to meet and support a number of the arts and cultural groups that make Tucson a vibrant place to visit or call home.

KXCI General Manager Randy Peterson says , "KXCI is excited to team with the Fox Tucson Theatre and many of our downtown arts partners to kick off a season of giving in support of the arts."

Our list of participants continues to grow. You can come celebrate and support the arts with the Fox, KXCI, Arizona Theatre Company, the Rialto Theatre, Tucson Symphony Orchestra, 2nd Saturdays Downtown, TKMA/Tucson Folk Festival, and The Screening Room/Arizona International Film Festival, with more yet to be announced.
