Hank Green w/special guests
Hank Green w/special guests
Hank Green and the Perfect Strangers will play ska, punk, metal, pop, folk, and maybe some polka...it won't be stylistically cohesive but it will be a very good time. Between them, the band has over 800,000,000 YouTube views, which is why it can be a little hard to get tickets to their shows. Hank has been making educational and entertaining videos with his brother (best-selling author John Green) for more than seven years and has played everywhere from middle school auditoriums to cruise ships to Carnegie Hall.
Driftless Pony Club
Driftless Pony Club
Driftless Pony Club has been a band for over thirteen years. They met in college and have been making music in the style of modest mouse, superchunk, and archers of loaf ever since. They are led by Craig Benzine aka Wheezywaiter who has over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube and occasionally make music and other videos themselves. Driftless Pony Club has toured to nearly all fifty states and have played over 500 shows and hopes you come talk to them after the show.
Harry and the Potters
Harry and the Potters
Harry and the Potters are the first wizard rock band. They answer the question on everyone's mind: "What would happen if Harry Potter quit the quidditch team and started his own DIY punk band." Since 2002, they have played nearly 800 shows for people of all ages in libraries, rock clubs, bookstores, and basements all over the world. They were profiled in the 2008 documentary, We Are Wizards and appear on a Trivial Pursuit card in Sweden.
Andrew Huang
Andrew Huang plays a lot of instruments, but he is best known for coaxing surprisingly listenable music out of more unusual things like balloons, pants, water, and this one time, meth lab equipment.
Rob Scallon
Rob Scallon
Multi-instrumentalist & Youtube star Rob Scallon started his music career in 2008 by uploading his original song "Summer unto Youtube. Since then Rob's racked up about a quarter million subscribers on YouTube and countless millions of views on his videos showcasing his skills on multiple instruments and genres. His endorsements include Schecter Guitars, Kala Brand, Cleartone Strings, Cecilio musical instruments, Fastback Studios, and Guitar Pro Software. In the words of Kala "If it's got strings, Rob can do amazing things with it."
