Strangelove - The Depeche Mode Experience
Strangelove - The Depeche Mode Experience
What would you guess is among the strongest drawing tribute shows touring? Perhaps tribute shows honoring Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Journey, ABBA? NO! One of the most successful and largest drawing tribute productions in the world; STRANGELOVE - the Depeche Mode Experience delivers a pitch-perfect “best of” DEPECHE MODE arena/stadium scaled concert that transports listeners through time and touches on several key points in DM’s illustrious career. In addition to spot-on recreations of the darkly seductive music, the hip swivels, stage sets, era-specific authentic gear/attire, and projection visuals are all there. The visual presentation and in-show costume changes reflect different eras of Depeche Mode’s four decade, 120 million album selling story. This internationally touring sensation has been selling our shows around the globe throughout 2017 and is continuing into 2018.

“Strangelove's resemblance, both visually and sonically, to Depeche Mode is frightening.” –LA Weekly (2015 Best Tribute Bands)

Depeche Mode's Martin Gore on STRANGELOVE-The Depeche Mode Experience
"They do it to such fine detail that's it's scary. Their singer, Freddie, really has Dave's mannerisms down! They're obviously big fans. I've seen quite a few videos online. You can go and buy tickets on Ticketmaster and they play to very big crowds. They have videos that they've made, screens behind them, it's like a full on production. I think they are fulfilling a fan's needs by being there when we are not on tour. Keeping the fans satiated while we're taking a break. "

Electric Duke - Tribute to David Bowie
Electric Duke - Tribute to David Bowie
Los Angeles based (via London, via Leeds) David Bowie tribute artist “Electric Duke” brings Bowie classics from several eras of his storied career, presented in a somewhat electronic format that pairs nicely with Strangelove, like a vintage wine! Frontman Julian Shah-Tayler was recently featured on the cover of LA Weekly for his Bowie-exploits. He’s worked and performed with Bowie cohorts Carmine Rojas and Kevin Armstrong.
