I love my fans and I’m upset to disappoint you. I will be back soon and better than ever to perform for you and you’ll be the first to know!

August Alsina
August Alsina
This April, Alsina will return with his second installment of 'The Product' series, this time teaming up with DJ Drama and his Gangsta Grillz brand. The debut single "I Luv This Shit" finds August paired with fellow Def Jam label mate, and hip-hops man of he moment, Trinidad Jame$. The track, produced by Knucklehead, speaks to the rebellious and, sometimes, reckless lifestyle that finds August singing words that many can relate to, "Im way too drunk to be talking like this, I'm way too high to be trippin like this, I'm way too young to be livin like this, ask me why I do it I'ma put it like this... God Damn it, I luv it". It's that honest and rebellious tone that seems to be connecting with consumers, drawing views to the "I Luv this Shit" music video by the hundreds of thousands.

Yet to reach 21 years old, with already a lifetime of experiences behind him, August is living proof that your past doesn't have to dictate your future, and that life's hardships can be the motivation required for success. With Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter The Dream prepping August's debut project for release through his Radio Killa/Def Jam imprint, the path to success has been laid. Look for August to make 2013 his official coming out party.
