Faun

FAUN combines medieval and ancient instruments with modern influences to create an enchanting and powerful atmosphere. Founded in 2001 in Munich, the band is comprised today of Oliver Satyr (vocals, keyfiddles, celtic harp, bouzouki), Laura Fella (vocals), Adaya (vocals, pandora, bagpipes, flutes, celtic harp), Stephan Groth (hurdy-gurdy, cister, vocals), Alexander Schulz (percussion, drums) and Niel Mitra (programming, sampler, synthesizer). Until now FAUN played more than 1000 concerts worldwide, including cultural concerts in churches and theaters, but also powerful festival shows at folk, gothic and metal festivals. They released eleven studio albums so far, of which „Von den Elben“ was rewarded with a platinum award and „Luna“ with a gold award. Also they were three times nominated for the „Echo“ the largest german music prize. In 2022 FAUN ledt their label Universal music and started their own label „Pagan Folk Records“. There they released their latest album „PAGAN“ in 2022 which entered the german album charts at number 3 and represents a musical journey to their pagan roots.
