Hispanic culture is no stranger to dark themes, especially in music. Many Chicanos grew up with The Smiths, The Cure, and New Order played alongside Selena, Vicente Fernandez, and Los Socios Del Ritmo.
In honor of that legacy, Tucson local deejay and producer Gorville Wreck returns with Gloombia on January 23rd. A unique dance night that mixes dark cumbia (punk, wepa, rebajada, sonidero) with goth, post-punk, and darkwave music.
The alternative scene runs deep in Tucson and is born from the immigrant cultures that made this city we call home.
Dress to impress in your alternative-wear and show everyone your moves on the dancefloor.
